Below are some of the prayer requests and praise reports we have been receiving over the last couple of weeks.

Glen fell through a second story window last week and the outlook was not good as Glen couldn't move. On Thursday Glen still couldn't move and was in a lot of pain. Tom and friends got praying, God worked a miracle and on the Friday morning Glen hobbled home with just two broken toes and a broken rib - our God heals

Michael was struggling with some broken relationships but since coming to church they've been restored.

Josh is going to be an intern at Barnsley Football Club. God is opening up doors for the dreams he has.

Below are some of the prayer requests and praise reports we have been receiving over the last couple of weeks.

Stewart is loving the challenge of EMERGE ACADEMY and finding he is learning so much. One of the things that has got him thinking this week is about humility -"Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less".

The Bounce team are celebrating another breakthrough this week as Bounce mums are starting to chat with the team more and also to request prayer.

Nathan was overwhelmed by the love and support from the worship team. He was really touched by the leaving party on Thursday which was totally unexpected.

Andrea Simpson says she has had it really rough over the last few weeks with the car breaking down and the threat of redundancy. She had a revelation that she dosn't need to worry about anything because God is in control whatever happens. It made her realise what she had. She has God to cling to.

Max has been listening to talks on the power of appreciation, and said it has really challenged him to believe that when you praise God in every situation, He will come through for you.

Harry Greendale had his cateracts removed last week, he came home the same day and is doing fine.

Gary is really happy as with Gods help and support from ICC he now has a voluntary job at the local hospital and is really looking forward to it.

Bill wants to praise God for healing. Bills brother-in-Law was told he had cancer, was prayed for and now has been given the all clear. God is our healer!

Chantelle would like to thank Andy for helping to decorate the baby's room, he did a fantastic job! Chantelle also says she is thankful for the amazing friends and family around her at ICC.

Hannah applied to be a volunteer at the Olympics, she was short listed, and now been picked to be at the Olympics.

Kate has been watching the Baptism DVD and was reminded of Joshua 1:9 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Malcolm wants to thank God for being in the little things. He went to a conference in Leeds, and didn't know where to park, so he asked a policeman. The policeman showed him where to park, but it was through a barrier. He parked up and went off to the conference. He thought on the way back to the car how he would get out, but as he drove up to the barrier it lifted up and there no charge

Sarah is at Bible Collage and was wondering how she was going to pay her tuition fees, but she kept trusting God for them. A couple of weeks ago she went home and there was a cheque from the Tax Office from 2007/2008 which will pay her fees from January onwards.

Tommy was quite shy and reserved, but in Lifegroup he has got talking, and confident to speak out and is making a massive contribution to the group.

Aletta wants to thank God for healing. Her son, Morne, had torn all the ligaments in his thumb but it is now fully healed and he has full use of it much quicker than the doctors thought!

Kerry would like to say that she thought the New Years Eve event was an incredible night, it was loads of fun and great to start the New Year with family and friends.

This Weekend

It was 10 years ago this year that Grayson and Del took over the role of senior pastors at International City Church. Over this 10 years period we have been working hard to establish ICC as a credible church with a strong foundation in God. Now 10 years on we believe that God has revealed to us the vision of what he wants us to achieve over the next 15+ years as a church.

DNA is the new testing series for the first quarter in 2012 - we, as a church will be looking at the vision of ICC and sharing what God is wanting us to do as a church in our communities. So come along to one of our campuses in Doncaster and Barnsley for a great start to 2012.

The Week Before Christmas

What an amazing day we had yesterday!

The children were absolutely fantastic and put on one of the best performances we've ever had at International City Church at our Doncaster Campus in the morning (with the help of our incredible Bounce team).

Last night at the Big Giveaway at Barnsley people were honoured for being the incredible blessing they are to people around them and it was great chilling out afterwards over coffee and mince pies.

Don't forget to join us on Christmas Eve at 6:00pm at our Doncaster Nether Hall Road building for the Intimacy Service where we take some time out to think about the real meaning for Christmas - JESUS.

Please Note: There are no Services on Christmas Day.

This Weekend

We are so looking forward to tomorrow morning at International City Church where at our Doncaster Campus we have a Brass Band, Carols, and the Children Christmas Production (which they have practised so hard for). Lots of love and laughter, and to top it off, mulled wine and mince pies will be served after the service. If you have a couple of hours to spare come along, 10:30am at Doncaster Collage for the Deaf, it would be great to see you.At our Barnsley Campus this weekend we are also having our Big Giveaway blessing the people and communities of Barnsley and the surrounding area. Tom has been praying for a friend for over a year who was diagnosed with cancer. Tom bumped into him last week and asked how he was to be told the cancer was gone and he is doing really well!

Pauline says many thanks to all the teams for all their hard work for Flavour of Christmas, it was a brilliant afternoon, a lovely family atmosphere, and a joy to be there.

10 year old Jamie wants to thank God for a book he recieved through the post. He had been waiting for a signed copy of Glyn Barratts book The Audatious Revolution. He says "Glyn had signed it for me, I have started reading it and it's amazing".

Alex wants to thank God because last year he gave his career to God and this week he has been offered a place on a graduate leadership scheme in adult social care. He says he has now seen what is possible when you submit a difficult situation to God.

The new look internationalcitychurch.com is release today! There have been some changes around the site where things have moved to make the site easier to get around, there are some new features too.

Prayer and Praise Reports

Donna wants to thank God for His faithfulness in giving her the vicyory in a very dificult situation, that only Gods intervention could have changed the outcome. She also wants to thank God for the prayer team and those who prayed with her.

Keira says Imagine was amazing, it was so good to see so many new faces, girls being blessed, and feeling loved and spiecial. About 90 girls came along to the event.

Oliver wants to thank God for good people in the world. He was in a bit of a grumpy mood, but everywhere he went he met people who were kind and helpful, and good things kept happening and he felt lifted.

Rebecca lost her voice on Friday, and couldn't speak all day Friday or Saturday. At youth on Friday people prayed for her as she was singing at the Inspire event. Her voice came back in time for her to sing on Saturday evening

There have been so many praise reports this week about the Barnsley Christmas Market! It was such a fun day!

Tommy loved giving away chocolates with a huge grin on his face and Kate must have chatted to hundreds of people whilst giving out carol concert invites!

The Bounce team were on top form with Santa and the elves helping out, and Roxy (our Bounce mascot) even tried a bit of ice skating!

This Weekend

On Saturday 26th November, ICC will be joining in the Christmas festivities in Barnsley Town Centre from 10am, near the bus station. Why not pop along and say hi, its going to be a great day blessing the town of Barnsley - a great opportunity to connect and build friendships.

Imagine: A special night for girls in years 7-13, it's here again! Tickets only £2 (drinks and cakes inc. in the entrance fee). Come along to enjoy free manicures, live band, dance performances, an incredible winter shop with high street bargains and, of course, some surprises.

Sunday 27th November: Don't miss church at either one of our campuses, Doncaster 10:30am and Barnsley 6:00pm.

Joining us this Sunday in Doncaster we have Gary Rucci. Gary is a member of the National Leadership Team of the Assemblies of God in Great Britain. He travels extensively throughout the UK speaking in churches and providing strategic leadership consultancy.

Audrey, Ted, and Jane want to thank God for a miracle. Ted was rushed into hospital seriously ill, so much so that Audrey was told to get in touch with other family members as he may not last through the night. As people prayed, God answered their prayers and Ted made a miraculous recovery. The doctors and nurses agreed it was indeed a miracle.

Graham had been seeking a new job role for 3 months. He was prayed for at the In Touch meeting and recieved a promise from God, He was offered the new role the following day.

Harry wants to thank the Lord for what He has done for him since 25th October when he was in hospital.

Paul Seely has been spending time with God, pushing into the word, and he has been given peace, vision, and conviction.

Jen Rolls dad was rushed into hospital, and Jen was really worried, but she prayed and received such a peace in her heart. Her dad is now out of hospital and feeling better.

Brian says one year ago at the men's conference God spoke to him about starting a business. 12 months on and he has over 60 businesses conected to our business coaching and networking clubs. He says he obeyed God and stepped out in faith

Andy says some of the guys went to the Xcel conference in Bradford, and for him he says "It was absolutley utterly life changing".

Jackie has been busy helping homeless people by encouraging, supporting, serving food and showing Gods love in a real and practical way

Rita is praising God because her daughter is in remission from cancer after a year of treatment.

Diane had answered prayer this week. Amember of her staff was having serious money problems and her partner had also left her because of it. Dianne helped her to get her finances sorted, and prayed with her. The outcome was she had the interest frozen on 3 credit cards, also charges returned, and her partner came back. The member of staff said "Now I know God is real".

Charlotte and Zoe have had great conversations with parents from Barnsley Bounce. One boys mum said that the Big Givaway last year was the best day of her whole Christmas period. Another boys dad went straight to the pub after the Big Giverway and told his mates how incredible I.C.C. had been.

Tom has been a Christian for 6 years but since joining I.C.C. he has had a real reverlation in his heart. It is his birthday soon and instead of presents he has asked for money instead, so he can give it to the Big Givaway offering. He says "This church has changed my focus from "self" to giving to others.

Some of the C.A.P. team went to a celebration dinner to celebrate 15 years of C.A.P. Money. John Kirby (The founder of C.A.P.) is doing 15 marathons, in 15 days in U.K. Australia, and Newzealand, and already £86000 has been raised. It was an amazing night, and the team felt inspired and honoured to be there.

The In Touch evening was amazing, so many praise reports coming in. Frank was healed of a bad back, Sylvia's legs were healed, Oscar was healed of his cough, and many had a touch from God. 3 people also responded to God, to begin a journey with Him.

Well done to Kerry, The Bounce Team & Staff at Worsbrough Community Church for creating such an amazing event last Saturday! Lots of fun was had by all at the Worsbrough Autumn Fair and great new connections made.

Jane took Oscar out for prayer at the In Touch meeting as he had a very bad cough which was stopping him sleeping. He had not been well for about 3 weeks. that night he slept right through the night, and he is so much better.

Andrea felt ill on Saturday so she prayed she would feel better for Sunday as she was starting on a new team and needed to be at church for 9am. She felt great at church, and really enjoyed being part of the new team.

Neil & Julie are praising God because after Neil being out of work for 9 months he now has a job, and starts this week.

Frank is thanking God for a new job opportunity and extra happy as they have agreed he can have Sundays off so he won't have to miss ICC!

Peter said the time he spent with the Bounce Away kids and team was amazing especially when someone in his group made a decision to follow God!

Great reports coming in from the IN TOUCH meeting last night. Its amazing how lives are transformed by the power of prayer and praise and by just being open to the Holy Spirit and letting God do what He wants to do!

Tony says a work collegue of Angus, called Ceaser, came to the C.A.P. Money course, which Angus had told him about. Tony had been talking to Ceaser about Jesus, and 2 weeks later gave his life to Jesus.

Clair (Margaret's niece) wants to thank God for the safe delivery of a healthy baby who did have a high risk of Downs Syndrome. Prayers have been answered, and he is normal and healthy.

Dorothy wants to thank God for bringing Suzanne back to himself. She was a Christian up to being 18, then went her own way, now at 39 she is back in God's precious arms.

Throughout Great Britain God is empowering ordinary men and women to SHAPE their communities for Christ.

This means discovering which gifts, skills and abilities are yours to offer, use and maximize.

Charlotte has just held the second assembly in Bank End school (Barnsley) for Bounce Kids and said it was great to see the kids enjoying themselves. They also had fun in the park last Tuesday and made five new connections.

Kate wants to thank everyone for praying for her mum who is now out of hospital and doing well!

Matt H had a great time last Saturday at the AOG meeting, he said it was great to see everyone working alongside each other.

Lots of people have sent praise reports in about the C.A.P. course. Rebecca said she wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a fantastic group, and made the boring words of money and finance fun. Flora says she really enjoyed the course, and learned the importance of using cash instead of a card, because using cash you are in control of your finances, and know exactly how much you are spending. John and Pauline says it was a brilliant course, so simple and liberating, and a must for everyone.

Julie M says the Classicol Music Pod had a great time connecting and relaxing together to the strains of Beethoven. Brilliant!!

Dianne P was saying at this time of year business is usually not very good, but she said instead of fearing it, she declared success and blessing, and had a record week.

Tony and the C.A.P. money team says the responce to the September course was brilliant. 100% attendance, and many breakthroughs and blessing.

Paul says Uni is emence!! opportunities to meet new people have flocked into his life, and time spent in relationship and doing life with so many people. He says God has His hand over his steps and provided for him like a True Father. He was also recently chosen to be a course rep. for business at Hallam, and is looking forward to being a blessing and gaining experience because of this.

On Saturday it was the A.O.G. conference in Leeds. All those serving on team had to be up at 5am to be there set up and ready to serve at 9:15. It was an amazing day, and many of those serving were so blessed to be a blessing. Debs said she laughed all day working on team, Dawn said she was so blessed by how everyone worked in unity, the tech team also had a great day, and no problems.

Janet C says Cynthia's arm is healed, and she won't need another operation.

Another praise report from C.A.P. course, Julie W says the couse was brilliant, the facilitators were very helpful and sensitive, and she wished she had had it 40yrs ago. Everyone should do it!!

Julie W had some abnormal test results which were quite worrying, she had an invasive biopsy proceedure,and last week was told that all the bad tissue had been removed and providing everything is o.k. in 6 months she will be given the all clear.

Nigel's daughter Sophie had her first show-jumping tornument, and came 1st in one round and 2nd in another.

Diane P says she was so blessed by all the messages from people at church for her birthday, they made her feel really special.

Max Scott has come back from his week at uni and is buzzing, he has been blessed with some amazing house mates and friends

Malcom Haynes had an brilliant time at Bounce last Thursday. He says the kids and leaders were amazing and what a great work God is doing at Edlington.

Peter R is celebrating his 2 year ICC anniversary! He says he is feeling so much more confident and feels so much better about himself, he feels he knows who he is in God.

Kate's cousin had been struggling with a really long and difficult labour. After contacting ICC for prayer baby Evie-Grace was born completely fine apart from a slight heart murmur (which the doctors said should resolve itself in time). Mum and baby doing well. Kate also wants to thank God for all the things He has done in her life in the last nine months!

Jen H went to the ladies breakfast on Saturday and had a brilliant time chatting to people she had not spoken to before. God's timing was excellent, as usual, as Matt had just demolished their kitchen so they had no water/electric/breakfast at home!

Brenda's daughter Paula, was prayed for recently regarding ovarian cancer, and this week the tests have come back all clear. Also Rebecca C's mum has been given the all clear after having a lumpectomy, the tissue surounding the lump is normal, also lymph nodes are normal.

Keira has been chatting to someone about church and they said they wanted to come to ICC and become a better person. They came to the Doncaster meeting and made a decision that morning.

ICC Book Stand opening in October

Have you been inspired, challenged or amazed by a fantastic book you have read recently, then why not give someone else the chance to have the same experience by donating them to our previous own book and CD stand.

Here at International City Church we are always wanting to empower ordinary people to live extraordinary lives for God so if you’ve had a book that has helped you in your walk with God that you think might be beneficial to someone else, then please help support this by handing in your good quality books and CD in to the information desk on Sundays at one of our Campuses or drop them off at the Centre in Doncaster during the week.

This is a great opportunity for us to collectively come together to share in the culture of ICC to help each other as a community, as a family to input into each other lives. Church isn’t just about Sunday Meetings, we need to grow and develop our walk with God throughout the week so that we can be ready for whatever challenges come our way.

This will be opening on Sundays from October so let’s join together to actively grow and develop in the gifts that God has given us so that we can be built up to impact our communities.

A Week of Prayer and Fasting

From Monday 26th to Friday 30th September we have another opportunity to corporately set aside time for a week of prayer and fasting. In this week we will unite together to seek God and focus on praying for Doncaster and Barnsley. Fasting increases our focus and helps us to set aside extra time to seek God’s heart by not eating food for the whole week or for certain meals. You may also want to fast something else that takes up your time, e.g. TV, Facebook, etc.*

Please take time to consider how God is asking you to fast and decide how you and your family can maximise your prayer time this week by fasting. This will be a powerful week, let’s have expectant hearts to reap a great harvest!

This opportunity is for us to share a luscious and leisurely 3 day get-away experience, in Cefn Lea, Mid-Wales. We will be creating space to take it easy together, enjoy good food and get to know each other better. As a bonus we will have a slice of some enriching and heartening teaching – and, of course, dollops of entertainment and fun!

It was the first night back for Bounce last night in Doncaster and the kids were buzzing! Vintage RAW and BOOM Doncaster kick off in style tonight. We have got the most amazing children and young people in Doncaster and Barnsley and believing for many more to come and be changed by the incredible love of Jesus. On Sunday at our Doncaster Campus we have guest speaker, Greg Swinamer and the CAP Money course as well.

Bill wants to thank God for healing him from industrial deafness during a conference recently

I would love to praise God for bringing me to ICC through my good friend Leanne. I had no idea what to expect from life and after a long time of struggle I have found amazing friends who I will treasure forever. Thank-you God, I cant wait to ride the wave and see what the future holds! ~ Fiona

Rebecca C says her mums operation went well, and the doctors are hopeful they have removed all the cancerous tumor.

Angela Norris just wants to share that their Life group came back together after the summer break, and she says it was wonderful. A great time had by all.

Ryan K says "It's a privilege coming to church on a Sunday, and even though I havn't been coming long it's amazing how every one is one big family and I never feel left out".

As a church community we would like to encourage you with your fast for us all corporately to pray for a specific purpose, with the theme being: US - THE CHURCH - HEAVEN ON EARTH

PRAYER GUIDE

Use this verse during your prayer and reflection time to help focus your prayers this week as we join together: Mathew 6:10 - Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Monday: Your KINGDOM come...
Pray for Doncaster and Barnsley:

To have reputations for goodness, favour and blessing; places of hope and opportunity.
For kingdom principles to be established in education, local government, police, health services and children's services; for those in poverty, destitution, addition and desperate situations.
That people would have a revelation of Who Jesus is.

Tuesday: Your WILL be done...
Pray for blessings on Doncaster and Barnsley:

For God's grace and favour on the two town's.
For prosperity and success on businesses.
That jobs will be created and people will prosper.
For the restoring and renewing of great relationships.

Wednesday: On EARTH...
Pray for you neighbours, street and community:

For connections and opportunities that enable you to bless others.
For ways to be engaged in your community.
For salvation, free and totally transformed lives.

TIPS FOR FASTING

Prepare for the fast, Pray and ask God how you should fast. Organise when and where you will have extra times of prayer.
Reduce you intake of food and caffeine as you approach the start date.
Drink plenty of water during the fast. This washes out the toxins that have built up in our bodies and also help us to feel full.
At the end of the fast, increase your food intake carefully - if you are doing a full fast. Start with soups and light meals. (Not a McDonalds or a fry up!)

WHAT IS FASTING?

In the Bible fasting is going without food for a specific spiritual purpose. In the 21st Century we have extended this to mean abstaining from anything significant to you, e.g. TV, Computer games... even Facebook and Twitter.

However, there is something especially significant in abstaining from food. Fasting is accompanied by prayer. Without prayer, fasting is simply being hungry! It is supposed to be a period when extra time is spent in prayer. the mystery is that prayer and fasting have a spiritual importance, God gives us ears to hear what the spirit is saying. There are many testimonies of 'God encounters' during times of fasting and many more testimonies of answered prayer.

WHO CAN FAST?

Anyone can fast provided they are medically fit enough, including children and young people. There are always plenty of reasons we can find not to fast but Jesus said 'when you fast ...' He expects fasting to be part of our lives.

WAYS TO FAST

A full fast - abstain from food for a week, but NOT liquid.
A partial fast - abstain from food for some part of each day. This maybe missing one meal or only having one meal a day. Many people sustain a long fast by abstaining from food all day and eating one meal in the evening.
A Daniel fast - this is abstaining from certain foods and only eating certain foods. Daniel abstained from eating all sweet things, meats and drinking alcohol. Instead he ate only vegetables and drank only water.

Fiona wants to thank God for bringing her fantastic friends through her life, they've been there through all the ups and downs in life, especially for leading me to the ICC. I love it and everyone I've met there.

Josh Needham and Rebecca Hughes want to thank God for the life changing experience of going to Mozambique. They have both said how the people in the church there had so much faith in God, and made them so welcome.

Becci F finished her degree 3 months ago. She got a job that wasn't related to her degree and she wasn't really happy with it. She had been praying a lot, and on Friday she got a call, and now she has a new job in Social Care Sector. She says "Praise God!!"

Pete R wants thank God for I.C.C. for all the amazing people he's met, having great socials, and connecting with new people.

John & Jenny want to praise God for their daughter Sally. She had a job, but she wanted to progress further in her career, so she sent her C.V. to a company that wasn't even advertising a post. They asked her to come for an interview, then a 2nd interview. They gave her the job with full benefits and a car.

Dorothy was prayed for last week as she had terrible colic. This normally lasts a few days, but by the time she got home from the meeting the pain was gone.

Andrew struggled with Heroin and Cocaine for 15 years. He says "Praise God today I have been clean from drugs for 1 year. Now it's time to count the years, not the months

Rosanne took her driving test and passed first time!!

Frazer wants to praise God for his exam results.

Jane Thompsons dad Ted was so fed up of not being to get out, as he suffers from emphasema. He was prayed for and now has a mobility scooter on long term loan, and he was able to get out and meet up with friends, he's been going out ever since.

Rebecca C wants thank Jesus for coming into her life. She says she can actually feel His presense and His arms around her. The love she feels for Him is so amazing, and she knows she is loved back. She knows she will never be alone, and even in the storms of life "He is with me".

Kate just wants to thank God for helping her though such a difficult time! Since her Baptism she has felt God saying that no matter what happens He will always be there by her side!

Don't Become Weary

One of the main reasons I think people become weary is they forget the reason why they are doing what they are doing. In our lives it is easy to get caught up in digging and building rather than the King and his kingdom. No matter how trivial the thing we are doing may feel, if we will remember who it is we are doing it for then we will feel energised and enthusiastic rather than weary. One of the words that I think is having a negative effect in our modern day church world is the word ‘busy.’ We seem to think that we are too busy and haven’t got enough time for all that we have to do. A Day in the Life of an Emerge Academy Student, Sarah Boyce

I often get asked, what do you all day on Emerge? So here is a snapshot of my day.

Alarm set for 5:45am for an early morning jog!!!

07:00 Sudden realisation that I now only have 1 hour to get ready

08:00 How has that happened? Time to go, grab that multitude of bags, a coffee for the road and ICC here I come.

08:20 M18 J1 - making good time

08:25 Overhead Matrix sign - J2-3 Congestion. Don't have time for that - Emerge starts in 35 minutes.

08:27 Quick prayer to God that He will par the cars like He did the Red Sea for Moses so I can get to Church for 9.

08:40 J2 - No congestion! Thank you God! Now either God answered my prayer or you really can't trust those matrix signs.

09:00 Just made it! Phew! First job of the day, getting the drinks ready for staff break time, a very important job

09:30 Find a quiet spot for some personal devotions, Philippians 2, what a chapter, what a challenge. 'Today I will serve with the attitude of Christ.'

10:30 Break Time! Coffee, chatting, laughing and great conversations with inspiring people.

11:00 Time to collect the cups and was up. Here's my chance to serve in Philippians 2 style!

11:30 Time for my one to one mentoring session where I will be challenged and encouraged to continue in going deeper in my relationship with God.

12:45 Joining the queue for the microwave, jovial banter in the kitchen at lunchtime with more laughing, chatting and inspiring conversations to be had.

14:00 Dishes done - meet with department head for task brief. This month I am with the 'Be the Solution' department preparing for the Edlington Gala.

15:30 Ready to pack the van with Tim. There is enough stuff here for 10 vans, not sure how it is all going to fit.

17:00 After another challenging but fulfilling day it is time to go home and I am looking forward to another day on Emerge Academy tomorrow. (I think tomorrow is definitely the day for an early morning jog - or maybe not?)

As the summer draws to a close and the August Bank Holiday weekend approaches please join us at Locke Park in Barnsley (Meeting at the Band Stand at 3pm) for an afternoon together as a church family where we can play games and enjoy your picnic with others in the glorious British Sun (hopefully).

Praise and Prayer Reports August 2011

Della said her Dad was prayed for and has now been given the all clear.

Kiri is praising God for all the fantastic stewards we have at I.C.C. espiecially ones like Stewart who came off holiday to serve on Sunday.

Angie was impacted at the Flourish conference, and also learned more of how to talk non-Christians.She has felt this has helped her get closer to her daughter Laura, her daughter Sophie has been blessed with a free holiday to America, and Angie has been blessed with being able to get a new car, and because of that, she was able to bless someone with her old car.

Sylvia has had her cataracts removed privatly because the N.H.S. was full. She says she felt like royalty, and now she can see better as well.

Jonathan put in a prayer request recentley about his work situation, as he was feeling extremly pressured at work, and with massive responsability. God answered prayers more than he could have imagined, and as a result two contracts were secured for his company with the potential of bringing in 3/4 million pounds over the next year.

Della & Harold are celebrating 30 years of marrage this week and want to thank God for His faithfulness, and His grace in their marrage. They have said they would have not been together without Him.

Daniel prayed for his next door neighbour last week and whilst praying she started feeling better and has got stronger every day since.

Daniel and Aletta would like to thank Deb Taylor, Richard Powell and Jen Henley for looking after Kelly when she was taken ill at Audacious. They would also like to thank Zoe Wood for always being there for the family.

Don Haller lost his car key-card, which is very expensive to replace. He had looked everywhere, and couldn't find it. This was on the Monday, he began to ask God to help him find it. On Thursday he was lighting the Rayben when at the bottom where the sticks are, there was his car key-card. He says "With God all things are possible"

Mark, Babs, Pike, Luke, Lydia & Jem are so gratful to God for moving them into the area, they no longer have to travel from Bradford to join with us at I.C.C.

Carla Tagg says her manager had open heart surgery, she is now out of hospital, and recovering fast.

Frank & Audrey Viney wants to say "Thank you" to the Vintage youth team that went to do some work for them, "They were a real blessing"

Helen and Andy want to give thanks to God for opening a door for Roseanne. She has been offered a place at Pheonix Dance Accadamy in Leeds.

Tom Glenn had an amazing week at New Wine. The worship was fantastic, and some amazing healings took place. One lady who was in a wheelchair was prayed for, the following night the lady came in walking completly free of pain.

Jamie, Daniel, and Joshy all went to Audacious Juniors. They have all said it was a really fun time, doing loads of activities, they had their own worship band, and learned a lot more about God.

Diane says Audacious was incredible, and so loved how the youth lapped up every moment. It was amazing to see their development over the week and how they grew in confidence with God as the week moved on. The team spirit was awsome and all 94 gelled together as one amazing team.

There have been many great reports from Audacious. Ellenor Simpson says she was touched by a talk about God lighting a fire, but it is up to us to keep it burning. After that talk we all felt totally re-ignited. Joel Jones met loads of new friends, and built his relationship with God. Charlotte Calder has said it was an amazing week, and just can't put it into words how God moved in her life.

Tommy was waiting for a train and suffering with severe back pain. Tom prayed for him and the pain went away instantly!

Life Pods

Kirsty says the Wii Pod at Matt and Jens is a great way to get to know people better and have heaps of fun.

Jane Thompson went to a Lifepod social and really enjoyed everyone's company, it was good to chill and share life, and can't wait for the next one.

Tony Norris went to the 40+ Lifepod and says he had a great evening with great friends.

Andy McGarry loves Lifepods because there is always great things happening, like walking in the Peak District, photograpy, picnics and trips out, he also says that some of his closest friends are people he has met in Lifepods.

Zinnia loves Lifepods because people who don't come to church can come along and hang out with us, they are great for building relationships.

Gemma Wydell went to the Film Lifepod, and says it was amazing to meet new people and can't wait to go deeper on her journey of friendship.

Praise and Prayer Reports August 2011

Gill Scott wants to thank God for settlind her son, after 2 years of resistance. She allowed him to explore a transfer to Danum for year 9, at the same time praying for his decision. He decided to stay at Trinity Acadamy "because of the education" Gill says it was a mature decition that made her proud

Becca Finch wants to thank God for getting her through her degree over the last 3 years, which hasn't always been easy. She has now passed with a 2/1 which is fantastic. Praise God!!!

Chantelle got baptised in the sea at Cleethorpes and says she's really glad she did it. She said it feels like a weight has been lifted off her shoulders!

Kate says her baptism in the sea at Cleethorpes on Saturday was amazing!! She says that when she came up out of the water she felt like her sins had been forgiven and it was a fresh start.

Tony Norris says a lady came and thanked them for the CAP Money Course in Barnsley. She said that her family are now in control of their finances for the first time in years.

Charlotte Freour went down to Wembly to sing with her choir and raised lots of money for Save the Children, and also broke the world record for the most people singing at the same time.

Kathy Wright is thanking God for a wonderful day last Thurday. Regeneration had their cream tea. The weather was perfect, the food delicioue, and the company was THE BEST.

So many people have said how fantastic the Baptisms in the sea were. Not only that, but people coming and asking what was happening, and being able to share what it was all about. The weather again was perfect.

Harry and Linda want to say a massive "Thankyou" to the young people who came to do their garden, and two others in the street. They worked very hard, and everyone was really pleased with what they did.

Dawn Brown want to says the V- fest team helped in the charity shop and were amazing. They cleared out a whole section in the sorting room, took flyers into town, steamed and tagged cloths, nothing was too much for them. Also "Thank you to the car cleaning team for cleaning my car"

Jen Rolls says thanks for sending in breakfast food for V-fest, there was more than enough, even to take to Audacious.

Jake Brown wants to thank God for giving him the opportunity to go on mission with his school to South Africa. He says "I saw some extraordinary things, met people who I will never forget. Had a chance to experience their culture and passion for God. Came back with some brothers from the trip. God is certainly doing stuff in South Africa."

Rowena said she loved the ladies night last week, it was really empowering & Lee and Michael said the boys trip to the Mozambique fundraiser was amazing.

Kate wants to thank God for her growing confidence, she even had enough confidence to wear shorts out and about for the first time.

Sam prayed for nieces neck operation and she made a full recovery.

Steve said he had a fantastic day out at 'The Big Bike Ride'. He said it was the first day out he has had in seven years and he loved relaxing and chatting to people.

The church recently prayed for Pastor Stan who was in hospital suffering a heart attack. He is now home and doing well, he wants to thank every one for their prayers.

Charlotte Freour from Girlszone will be singing with her choir at Wembly which is going to be recorded for Save the Children, and 3 songs released into the charts.

Frank Woolich wants to say a massive "Thankyou to the Be The Solution team for the food parcel they supplied to his uncle. He was very touched by it, and for the generosity of I.C.C. and says he will always remember it

Angela Norris was "Super Gran" at Bounce.She really enjoyed decorating biscuits and cakes with the children, and was amazed at how well behaved they were.

45 members of Regeneration (our over 60's ministry) and friends are praising God for a wonderful day at the seaside on Wednesday. The sun shone and the fish & chips were great. A lovely time of fun and fellowship.

Leanne wants to thank those at ICC who have supported her through exams, helped with baby Tom, and who have been praying for her (the test results came back good).

Tom Palmer was in John Lewis in Sheffield looking at the i-pod touch that was on display. He then went to the music section and found a whole album of Chris Tomlin. Tom says "It just goes to show God is everywhere".

Mez wants to thank Jesus for everything He has done in his life over the past few weeks, for helping him out of some of the dark places he's been in. He is an awesome God!

Six young people, who have only been going to Vintage Youth Barnsley for around six months, have decided to go to Audacious this year for the first time!

Brian Butcher recently walked the Inca Trail. He did this with some of the Doncaster Rovers team, and he says that while they were finding it hard going, he asked God to help him, and God gave him the strength to go on, and with no aches and pains.

Dawn Brown wants to thank God for helping her do her tax returns. She felt challenged to do them herself, but when she looked at last years figures they just didn't make sense. She prayed before she started and suddenly everything made sense."Praise God He gives us strength to go above and beyond what we think we can do''.

Andy wants to thank people at ICC and his life group for the support they have given him over the last few weeks. He has been suffering from a life threatening illness was prayed for and now the results are showing he has been healed!

Tom wants to thank God as he has been praying about his job situation this week as cuts have been made and jobs lost. His boss has just let him know that his role has changed but his job is safe!

Sarah Laws wants to thank ICC for all the help & support she received to help her move into her new home.

Tommy, Lee and Michael want to share about how amazing the SEX:ED men's conference was! They said Grayson was an amazing speaker. They felt they could be really open about such a tough subject and that they have built stronger relationships out of it.

Pauline Archer had been taking her mum shopping, when her mum was getting out of the car even though she was holding on to Pauline's arm she began to fall. Looking back, Pauline said it was just as though God had His arms underneath her, protecting her. She did end up on the floor, but totally uninjured, and help was soon on the way to get her up.

Della said of the conference it was an incredible day, with some beautiful ladies from I.C.C. She also wants to say "Due to my driving, they now know they have been kept alive for purpose and destiny". I'm sure the ladies on the mini bus knows what she means!!

A number of ladies went to the Cherrish conferance at Bradford. They all said what an amazing time they had, in particular Dawn and Charlotte said it was a quality time together, and they were made to feel really special.

A friend of Gemma Wydell wanted to have a baby, but it wasn't happening, so she prayed for them. Her friend not only got pregnant, but had the little girl she wanted.

Andrew McGarry wants to thank God for an awesome holiday, with some awesome people, and to have connected with Grosvenor and Magnus.

Tommy wants to say he had a great time at the Wii Pod & BBQ on Friday night. He enjoyed the games and the company.

Zinnia, Claire, Andy, Jen & Matt had an awesome time in Devon surfing, chilling, eating cream tea's and connecting with people. They made some great friends at www.grosvenorchurch.org.uk and can't wait to visit again soon!

On Saturday was the Czech Fundraiser, and the Be the Solution team want to say thankyou to all who supported. Willing hearts and willing hands made it a brilliant day. Great food, great film, and great people.

Joshy Mettam came this morning with his own hand written praise report to say God helped him to do a ten mile walk up a mountain and not get blown off the top.

Christine Morris says 5 weeks ago we prayed for a guy called Peter who had a heart attack. He is now out of hospital, and on the mend.

Audrey Viney sent a message to say thank you for praying, Frank is now out of hospital.

Jane Smith saye it's Oscars 2nd birthday this week, and is thrilled because he has been discharged from physio because he is now walking. Oscar has had lots of problems after being born very premature, but with lots of prayer he has overcome all the obstacles.

Since joining ICC in January, Frank Woolich has lost four & half stone. He says he thought he had lost some, but not that much, he feels great and really fit.

Jen Henley wants to say that Alpha is going really well. There have been some breakthroughs in her group and people are stepping out in faith, pushing forward, going deeper and asking questions they may not have dared ask a few weeks ago.

Last Sunday Tommy was struggling with stomach pain, he prayed about it and the pain went straight away, God healed him!

Sarah wants to thank God this week because she has been praying for a friend for a while who has been avoiding God and Church. They came to ICC this morning, the preach was spot on and the friend and said they would like to visit again!

Silhe says that the DN12 youth has joined together, Lads Zone and Girls Zone, and she says it's brilliant.

Brian Butcher recently did the Three Peaks Inca Trail. He had eight miles to go, and he says he was absolutly shattered, so he prayed and asked God to give him strength. In the distance he saw a tea caravan. He stopped, had a rest and cup of tea, and did the last five miles quicker than the first. He even ran the last mile, and his friend said "Can you pray for me?"

Margaret Bullivant and the finance team want to say a massive thank you to John, Pauline, and Karen for counting all the change from the Change for the Future jars. So far the total is £538 and more change is still being brought in.

Kiri says Luke has just celebrated his birthday, and she wants to say what an amazing husband he is, and to thank God for him.

Rebecca wants to say that as she submits to God in her life, she knows He is in control of everything.

Gemma wants to thank God for the practical help she has had. Frank and Stewart have been decorating her house, and she says it's been an amazing blessing. People have witnessed the church reaching out, and her mum even asked what time the church service started, from seeing what they had done.

Zoe said the Sunday am meeting was really amazing - out of the blue her daughter and boyfriend also went along!

Zoe also wants to thank God for all the 'Blue Pegs' in her life!

Jen & Matt took a full minibus of Barnsley youth (including three new young people) to support ICCFC on Friday night, it was a brill evening!!

Jenny Burte-Williams saw four new children at Easter Bounce. One girl (who had some behavioural issues) looked after the four new children, it was great to see how much she's changed!

kate was having a bad week but then spoke to God and felt peace!

The Regeneration team are praising God for a great aternoon on Saturday. They had a cream tea and bring and buy event, which raised £200. They say thankyou to all involved, and for giving so generously.

Neil Wragg wants to thank God for the safe arrival of his first grandchild, Isobelle Mae, born on Easter Sunday.

Anne Sneddon would like to give thanks for her Lifegroup. She says she is learning so much through their deep wisdom, and knowledge of Christianity.

Rocky Muleba wants to thank God for the provision of a suitable job, where everything is "Double double and triple triple."

Gary and Sharon Thornton, want to say a massive thankyou for all the prayers for Amy, which left doctors and nurses amazed at her incredible and fast recovery. While on holiday, Amy got impitigo & skin burns. Was transfered to Alderhay childrens hospital intensive care, she went into surgery, at which point she could have had a major bleed or skin grafts. What a fantastic week it's been at ICC in both Barnsley and Doncaster. Another bank holiday, people from all over getting together and building friendships, Shaped course started on Tuesday night and there have already been some fantastic reports, Regeneration, and a joint outing for Barnsley and Doncaster Vintage Raw and Booom to cheer on our very own football team in the final!

Vision Offering

On Sunday 15th May we have our Vision offering at International City Church. This is where we as a church have the opportunity to sow into the Vision of ICC and to release our faith as part of God’s family. We firmly believe that God is the one who gives us the ability to produce wealth so that his covenant can be established in the earth (Deut 8:18). God has given us a vision at ICC and as we stand and sow together we believe that not only will we see his blessing working through our lives but that we will be blessed also.
100 Club
Last year some of us committed to be part of our ‘100club’ and if you are not yet involved with this why not pick up a leaflet and join us in sowing £100 a month over the next two years to help us with our building project.

Claire Boulby has only been attending ICC Barnsley for a short time. We asked her some questions about her experience so far.

How long have you been coming to ICC?

- Since October 2010

How did you hear about ICC?

- I heard about ICC from a friend in Peterborough who knows Zinnia and knew of ICC. When I told her I was looking for a church she suggested I check ICC out.

What was your first impression when you first walked through the door?

- I was greeted with lots of friendly smiling faces! People were eager to come over and talk to me which made me feel really welcome.

What would you say to someone who is looking for a church and hasn’t found one yet?

- I’d tell them to come and give ICC a try and connect with great people and a great God.

What do you like best about ICC?

- I like everything! I love the new people I’ve met and the friendships I’ve made, I love that there’s always something going on and things to get involved with. I think the worship is awesome and the sermons are really powerful and inspiring. It’s all brilliant!

Zinnia Baker says she has had an incredible time in Alabama.God provided all her needs, even when she realised she probably hadn't taken enough dollars. She prayed over them and had enough to last her. She says she was so blessed.

Jane Smith wants to thank God for being able to spend time with the kids this Easter and get out and about.

Jade Wallis has had a leak in her heart, but this week she has been given the all clear, and can now lead a normal life.

Dannielle who was prayed for last week, has had a healthy baby girl with no complications.

Harry Greendale was given an overdose of morphine by mistake, but he was in church on Sunday, praising the Lord as always. He also prayed for a good nights sleep, and got the best nights sleep in a long time.

Sharon Johnson came along with baby Coda & said thanks for the prayers and that her blood pressure is now fine and baby is doing well.

Micheal Millard said that he loved church on Sunday and that Grayson & Del were great.

Tom Glenn's train to Doncaster was delayed and meant that he & his family may miss church! He prayed and the train was only 10mins late & they made it just in time.

Nicola Lovejoy says her Life group and some others prayed for healing for her as she had found some lumps. When she went to the hospital for the results, everything was fine. She wants to thank God for healing her, and for the amazing friends she has at church.

Keira Jones also had an amazing time with Vintage youth, she says God came through and she had a massive breakthrough in her life. She says "Thankyou God for showing me the real You which is love".

Jonathan Cutler says he had an amazing time in the Lake District with Vintage youth life groups. He says being away for the weekend helped him to get closer to God, he also got baptised and says it feels like a new start .

Jade says being away for the weekend helped her to feel so much closer to God, and felt like a great weight had been lifted.

Mollie and Jake says their trip to the Lake District with the youth helped them to feel they had become more of a family in building relationships.

Joe Botham says the trip to the Lakes with Vintage youth was an amazing opportunity to be empowered by God and to work as a team.

Chantelle has been praying for a house and now she's got one!

Peter Robertshaw says that 36 kids gave their lives to God at Easter Bounce and they also met 16 new kids. Peter also said that the Vintage Youth trip to the Lake District was brill and helped him get closer to God.

Olly says 'tech set up was amazing last Sunday, we were a few men down but we got it done fast and well'.

Sandra Seely's daughter came to church with her last Sunday, and she was totally overwhelmed by the welcome she reveived, not only from the host team, but loads of people went to say "Hi".

Damas Lendo wants to thank God for the safe arrival of their new baby Jayden. A healthy 7lb 6oz boy, born with no complications, and no I.V.F. Damas knows he was a promise from God. He also wants to say a big thankyou to the church for all the help and support.

Angie Sheriden has just run the Paris marathon!! wow. An even bigger WOW when she was told that she would never be able run. She says "Never live under what people have spoken over you."

Julie Wragg had a dream 25 years ago of becoming a nurse. At that time there was a height restriction, so she was refused. She never let go of that dream. In September she started her nursing training (height restrictions lifted) and she has just passed her first unit of nursing. One down, three to go!!!

Ricky & Geradine want to say a massive thankyou to the students and people on the team who came to help us at our house, creating a lovely family home for us. Dianne Powell was at a business networking forum, where she met someone who sold carpets. She asked him if he would like to give some carpets away, he said "Yes" and carpeted Ricky & Geraldines house from top to bottom.

Sylvia was born with asthma. She was recently prayed for, and on a visit to D.R.I. to see the specialist she told him she had been prayed for. After he examined her he said "Well God did the job" She can know walk without getting out of breath

The place were Kathryn Green worked was closing down, so she knew she would be without a job, so she started looking for another one. Only days after her place of work finally closed, she heard she had got a new job, taking her in a completley new direction, and she starts on 18th April.

Steph Calder had an inner ear infection, which was causing really bad dizzy spells. At Alpha they were talking about healing, Steph asked them to pray for her, they did, and she hasn't had a dizzy spell since.

The Watoto Children's Choir visited the school where Zoe works and she loved the passion from them. The year 6 lads were really moved by them, admitting to the odd tear in their eyes. The teachers loved them so much that they came along to the night event too.

Lee was supposed to get paid on the Wednesday but money didn't come through, He got praying about it and the money came just in time on the Friday!

Jade said she used to struggle with pain and struggled with everyday things. She was prayed for and now she doesn't have the same struggles.

Hannah wants to praise God for the Vintage Boom Friday night sleepover!

Tommy had been gambling for around 10 years. He gave his life to Jesus and now hasn't gambled for 7 weeks!

Sarah (Vintage Youth, Barnsley) says - Thank you to all staff at ICC. Since becoming a Christian she has been able to be more open and honest with herself and others and has seen a definite change!

Charlotte wants to say what an amazing time they had in Barnsley town centre last Saturday. Prince was a great 'Roxy' - really got into it and did some new mascot moves!

Jos wants to say that Gods timing is incredible. Her daughter came home from Australia and had a job within a week.

Peter wants to thank God because he has been offered a paid position in the work he does with disabled children.

Wendy Barrow says her son Robert went to the opticians, and they have reduced his prescription strength by half. She wants to thank God for that.

Heather Haynes wants to give thanks for the tech team. They get up early (6a.m.) every week to set up for Sunday service, then take it all down again, to go over to Barnsley. Having to get up even earlier last week, because of the clock change. She says "Thankyou" for all your hard work, and dedication serving the church.

Sophie was due to go to Alton Towers, but she was quite poorly with tonsilitus. She was prayed for, was healed, and able to have her day out at Alton Towers.

Angela Sherriden has been training for the Paris marathon, but she hurt her knee in training. It was very painful and swolen, and the doctor said it would take quite a while to heal. Her friend Sue Strange came and prayed for her, the next day her knee was fine, and now she is back in training.

Sam Jones says ICC football team won 11-0 on Saturday against Wakefield. Only three people from church started playing, so it's a brilliant opportunity for reaching out to, and connecting with non-Christians in Doncaster.
Micheal has been blessed with a guitar. It has been a dream of his to have one but never been able to afford one.

Diane Powell wants to say the teaching on the C.A.P. was fabulous. It was a great course, great fellowship, and some great foundations for money management. It's a course everyone should do. She told her son about some of the things she had learned, and now he's opened a bank account, and wants to sort his money out.

On Saturday, some of the students went round to Pauline & Mavis's mum, to do some cleaning for her. She was so blessed by them, they worked really hard , and she said "This is real Christianity isn't it?

Andrew McGary says a group from Doncaster and Barnsley went out on Saturday for a walk in Derbyshire, and said they had an awesome day together, and it was great getting to know people more.

Ben Hampshire was running 3mins late for a SKY news placement. He prayed that the train would be 3mins late so he would make the connection. Amazingly, the train was exactly 3mins late! Ben made it, had a fantastic interview and was offered the placement!!

Kate Wells & Jen Henley thought Reggie Dabbs was amazing at Audacious City Church last Friday. Around half the young people at the event responded to God and went forward & the worship was incredible!!

Alice Homer wants to thank God for her friend who has been going to Vintage Youth and went forward at the Reggie Dabbs event last Friday!

The finance team want to say Doncaster Christian Ministries Accounts went to audit a couple of weeks ago, and its going really well, Queries are minimal, and so its nearing completion.

Diane Walker has been discharged from hospital after two years of treatment for skin cancer

Tom Palmer has said Vintage went to Rotherham last Saturday and it was amazing, The worship was brilliant, and fantastic listening to Paul preach.

Sara, and Girl Zone want to thank Dan Oliver for putting on a music night at Girls Zone. It was awesome. Sara says the culture had changed and you could hear a pin drop!!

Brenda Taylors grandson Zachory had a lump on his head from birth, but with prayer the has gone down significantly, and is now the colour of healthy skin.

Vanessa Liveridge has been praying constantly for two weeks for a job. She has got a job, and starts this week at Minster Law

Rebecca Hughes wants to let everyone know that the …Be The Solution team are very excited to have booked the flights for the Czech Republic Mission in May.

Liana Haynes entered a competition at school, she had to do a project on 'A Woman that Changed History' She did it on Emily Davison - a suffragette. She Won!! And is now going to London to see the Queen at Westminster Abbey.

Sihle Mayo had been saving up for a new Hoover, then got a message saying her sister was ill, so ended up sending the money she had saved to her sister for hospital treatment. A few days later a couple from our Church felt they had to bless her with £100. She got her Hoover, and her sister is feeling a lot better. She says "God is great, and I love Him lots".

Yolande Haynes and some school friends competed against several locals schools in a courtroom mock trail. They won, and now have to compete against all the winners of South Yorkshire, and they got their photo in the Free Press.

Steph Calder wants to say what an amazing time she had at Vintage Youth. It was her first time working on team, and said it was fantastic seeing our young people working with the young people of Doncaster.

Ann Sneddon has been going through a really tough time lately, but she says with Gods help , and the help of people from church, she has come through.

Sam Lendo was treated to a Baby Shower on Saturday night at Karens house. She said it was a brilliant night. Lots of lovely gifts , lots of fun, lots of food, and ladies of all ages shareing it with her.

Jen Henly went to She is Fabulous conference at Hope City Church on Saturday, and had a fantastic time, brill worship, and great teaching.
Diane Powell also went to the same conference with 22 other ladies, and was spoilt all day. She was so blessed to have her daughter with her, as did a few other ladies have their daughters with them, which was amazing.

Sando Selchow says "God is on the move" - He has positioned me in my workplace in the role of champion to my collegues, to encourage them to develop "self worth", a self desire to create a higher level of engagement. It's the answer to a 7 year old prayer!!!

Jos Feetham says Lifekeys is a fantastic course., so real, hard, and liberating.

Sophie Robinson was desperate to go to Loughborough to study drama. She looked on her UCAS on Monday and they had declined it. All her family and friends prayed about it for her, and on Friday without reason it had changed to a conditional offer, and she got in.

Gary Thornton is praising God, as he has been given a verbal "all clear" of the cancer he had 5 years ago.

Sheila Goldthorpe says she has been agraphobic for 30 years. She prayed, the tablets worked, and she came to church last week, and every word meant something.

Steph Calder has graduated from her course, and she had to give a speach. She was really fearful, but God gave her massive amounts of confidence. The person who presented her said, "That confidence came right from your toes upwards"

Julie Muleba was working in Vive (our charity shop) when a customer asked about what activities the church organises for children. Fortunatly Hannah was there, so told her all about Bounce, and Vintage Youth. Since then she has brought her 3 children to the Thursday and Friday night activities. Vive is a great place to connect with people.

Gemma and Grace's friend was struggeling for clothes for her children, so they texted around for help, also Dianne put it on Facebook, now they have loads of cloathes coming in, so they can really bless their friend.

Mavis wants to give praise for the new people coming onto the operations and events team.

From Tuesday 1st March - Friday 4th March we are having a week of Prayer and Fasting in our Church and we would love for you to join we us over this week and give up something for the week, it doesn't necessarily need to be food.

Bev Forth says Lifekeys has started , and the first night was a brilliant mix, and in the groups everyone just clicked together. Frank Woolrich says that the Man to Man course, the MEN are bonding.

Steph Calder wants to say how much she enjoyed Alpha, and that she got to spend time with her friends again.

Dianne Powell wants to thank God for another bumper week at the salon. She prayed for an extra £300 and got £600!!! She is praising God.

Hannah Muleba says "A French penfriend came to church, and was amazed by everything. Although she couldn't understand everything, she made a decision to follow God".

We had some incredible events last week!! Two meetings last Sunday at Doncaster and Barnsley, Bounce 24/7, Alpha, LifeKeys, Girlzone, Legacy, Ladzone and Regeneration, Bounce United Space Disco at Edlington, Vintage Youth and yesterday was VIVE's 1st birthday.

Today we had guest speaker Ian Green and we're meeting over at our Barnsley campus tonight...

8 of our young people have been to Wales for the weekend, on a leadership course called Young Lions. It was a time for connecting, building relationships, and training. They had an amazing time.

Bev Forth has been learning to drive, she has not found it easy, and quite challenging, but the night before her test, Jack prayed for her, and she PASSED her driving test.

Technology Off
